W.I.T.B. day 9 To the Sea

Todays post features a little Hawaii,Fishing and a Bikini.





It is amazing what great art they could do with a few colors of ink back then.

    Napkin # 2 is from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Waikiki Beach in Oahu and dates from the 1950's.

    As a graphic designer, I feel sad that so many people in the field today think you can’t produce an effective brochure, logo, etc. if it’s not printed in full color maxed out with photoshop effects. Thanks for posting these incredible examples of simple yet effective design!
