Chapman purchased what became the Sumar Special in June of 1952. The car had just finished 3rd in the previous month’s Indy 500. Chapman hired Jimmy Daywalt to drive the car. Jimmy was able to guide the car to a 6th place finish in the 1953 Indy 500. The car still exists. As an aside, the Root family has the largest Coca-Cola collection in the world.Ookpikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06205933417077887292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3474067.post-59125568911612639522007-03-10T12:01:00.000-08:002007-03-10T12:01:00.000-08:00I am not sure, but the race car was a real car f...I am not sure, but the race car was a real car from the time.tikiranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00055470026155044586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3474067.post-78010637396832456512007-03-10T02:34:00.000-08:002007-03-10T02:34:00.000-08:00That is a nice drawing.
