Western Wear

Here is a neat little advertising figure I found for a Western Wear Company in Denver. When I first found it I thought it was just one of those childrens craft project with the Walnut Head. The piece was some sort of promo for the Rockmount Ranch Wear Company. The whole body is made of small diecut pieces of thick leather. These must have takes quite a while to assemble with as many pieces as there are. Seeing a piece like this reminds me how companies went out of there way to promote themselves with interesting giveaways back then.

Have a super day ya all.............

Randy- Rockmount is still in business here in Denver. They have a small shop where they sell their clothing and a small museum with some displays and clothing. They would totally dig seeing images of this item. The founder of the company is over 100 years old and still comes in to work every day.
