I am find a new interest in those small little spot illustrations used so much in the 50's objects like metal clips, rulers, booklets, notepads and all that other mass produced promo stuff created back then. I bought a few pieces over the past weekend and here are the cuts....
I'm a huge fan of this type of art as well. I have an Amy Vanderbilt cookbook and some children's classic storybooks that none other than Andy Warhol provided this type of art for - and I didn't realize it until after I had purchased them! Just discovered your blog and it's fab! Added you to my list of daily reads. :)
