Keys

A group of keys I bought at the swap on Sunday. I am always looking for keys and hope one day I will meet a old locksmith with a garage full.

I love how even the humblest old key can have such an elegant look to it!

My little brother used to collect keys, it was out of control! I always liked the really old heavy keys that looked like they opened a jail cell.

I also cannot leave a key behind -- I have boxes of them. Just a strong attachment that I can't resist!

Jimminy... another example how SO much more care/detail/pride went into making even ordinary every day items. I've lived in my house for 9 years, and have worn out two keys already!!
