A&W Light up sign I bought at the Rose Bowl on Sunday. First time I have seen a reference to a Teen Burger before. Looking at the art wheres the family burger?
Love it! As soon as I saw your post title, I knew you were referencing A&W. even in our fairly small town of Placerville, we had an A&W - no McDonald's until years later, but we had A&W and we had Foster's Freeze. I loved the whole car-hop, hook the tray over your window thing. We didn't get to go very often...but they were there, anyway. I miss stuff like that.
The Burger Family are alive and well up in Canada these days. While there's no "Family Burger", a new burger was made called the "Grandpa Burger" as well as an "Uncle Burger".

Brings back lots of memories of the drive-up A&W in Austin Minnesota, which we'd go to whenever we went to visit my grandparents.
