Sleepy Bear Those little hotel soaps sure look great with an advertising character on them. The Blythe California Travelodge soap featuring the Sleepy Bear with the slogan " For the Best Rest East or West". The Travel Lodge choice of soap was Camry.
The soap of choice was actually Camay. I think you can still get it in Mexico, and sometimes I see it at the dollar store. Smells wonderful. And I've loved that sleepy bear since I was a little girl. Love your site, snootless

Sleepy Bear has always been one of my favorite advertising characters. When traveling with my grandparents, we would always stay at a Travel Lodge.
