New Vintage

Tubs off to the folks at Kentucky Fried Chicken for the great chicken buckets they made up for the 70th year anniversary. I had seen a mailer that showed the old style buckets but did not realize they actually had them made for real. Went to the drive thru for some chicken and made sure to ask for one of each size. The kids working there gave me a odd stare but were nice enough to give them sans chicken grease. They did a great job on the new ones even down to the small text . I took a shot on my original one for comparison.




Just a side note The All American Toy and Collectible show at the Glendale Civic Auditorium is happening on this weekend. Tikiranch will have a table and half of toys and collectibles so drop on by if you are in the neighborhood.

Oh how fun. I have a few adverting signs. I will sell them at the next flea market this October.

Mine is the earlier brown version before they went toi the red white style. They started selling in buckets in 1957 so probably a few years later since the one I found on the KFC website is a different red white version. Here is the link
