What better way to let the delivery customer know that his buckets are soon to arrive than bolting this fowl on the delivery vehicles roof. This original Chicken Delight figure is made of fiberglass with some hard coating on the outside to protect it from the weather. On the bottom is on huge bolt and nut which makes me wonder if they had company trucks? I doubt any of the delivery guys would want to drill a 3/4 hole on the roof of their cars for a chicken. Maybe someone out there delivered chicken for Chicken Delight and can clear up this question. Thanks again for dropping by.

I want one o' these!! Hungry tonight? Chicken delight!
Yep, that would be attached to the top of a car.
Back in the 60s there was a Chicken Delight delivery car with one of those in our town (Harrisburg, PA). A yellow VW bug. I have no idea whether it was owned by Chicken Delight or by its driver, but I can still picture it after all these years.
My parents had a Chicken Delight. Food was delivered in a vw beetle the chicken was attached to the roof!
