The Uncle Rollie Mystery

Before I got a MIB Uncle Rollie I thought the figure was Uncle Rollie and he came with his sporty car. The box solved the question and the uncle is just the uncle and the cars name is Rollie. Here is 2 parts of the box to show the names and all the great features of the toys. Have a great weeekend after today.

The Big Cheese

One Giant Mayor Mc Cheeseburger please! This piece is from the McDonlds Playland and went on top of one of the play rides. There is a round hole on the bottom so it could be mounted on a pole. I ike the large figures from the playland and recently found a Big Mac Cop but still need the full figure Mayor Mc Cheese and the Apple Pie Tree. Have a great Day

Two Squirts

We have 4 dogs, 2 we named after Ad figures, 1 we named after an appetizer at the Rusty Pelican and one is from the Adams Family. Today I would like to introduce Squirt. He is the skinny one of the bunch and in this photo he is sporting a mini gold Mickey Mouse ears. The second photo is his namesake the Squirt Boy. This figure is from Mexico and on his back is the Squirt Logo so everyone would know who the little guy was for. Thanks for dropping by today.

Thin & Big

My wife did an estate sale years ago and he was the owner of Albecks in Arcadia. We found a couple of pictures of the place so now I can share one of them with the world. I like the way they juxtapose "Little Thin" hotcakes with "BIG" burgers. One question for you all ????? is there a difference between Hotcakes and Pancakes? Thanks for dropping by....

The Ranch Club

Howdy folks I am back with some new posts this week ( I know only 2 last week ) I traded my friend Patrick a cool Big Bad Wolf Doll( like Tex Avery style) for this great sign from the Ranch Club. I always like trades when both people get something they like and no money has to change hands.

Now I have to find a good place to hang it in our new home we are moving to soon.

Blak-Ray

Here is another piece from my vintage Spray Paint Can Collection. Blak-Ray Transparent Flourescent Spray Laquer ( That name covers all the bases) Not only is it medium Blue but break out the blacklight and dig the glowing color. I wonder what a whole room would have looked like under a blacklight?

Holiday

Howdy folks hope you all had a great weekend. Too busy this weekend to sit down and post a few things but I did find a few things over the weekend for show and tell this week. This is a great matchbook image on the iconic Holiday Inn Sign before it was updated to what it is today. Hormel Treats

So much meat in a small little can. I never ate these little sausages I always thought like looked like huge round tubes of Bologna plus canned meat tastes weird to me. The vinatge little can shows the contents as they would be inside plus now with the E-Z open top. I wonder if they were imported from vienna or just a advertising ploy. The Clocks Chubby

Chubby The Champ mascot for The Clock Broiler Restaurants. He has his hands full with 2 boxing gloves and holding a frying pan clock with fork and spoon hands. I think he is sitting on some sort of wagon also. Wass he was too top heavy to walk on his own? Have a great Day

The King

I am always searching for interesting Ad Characters and they turn up on all kinds of things. This piece is a large metal lid probably for those big metal cans they ship chemicals in. What a great character with his Can crown and body. I wonder if they ever made a three dimensional display of this guy?, what a find that would be. Thanks for dropping by ya all.
