Rental Chair

Look what turned up a the Rose Bowl Swap a few weeks ago, an Abbey Rents folding wooden chair salesman sample. I sometimes come across a cool piece out there and sometimes the price is right but other times the price is a bit too much. This is a good example of that because one of these turned up maybe 6 months ago in a dealers booth. I picked that one up and asked how much for the chair? $350 replied the seller so I carefully placed it back and figured never to have one. Fast forward 2 weeks ago late in the day I find this one for $15.00......sold!




Thats a quarter sitting on the seat.

AD BOY

The AD BOY book is out and I wanted to do a little post today and let you all know about it. The book has over 170 pages with 63 chapters covering all kinds of advertising character graphics. Warren Dotz and Masud Husain spent the last few years searching high and low for the best of the best for this visual feast of character goodness.
