Disneyland Hotel / Monorail
A great DH placemat I got from my friend Scott..... he finds the best stuff!
I hope you can read the little story written on the backside.
Job is going great still getting use to working all day instead of nights plus not working for 2 months makes you wishing you could retire at 48.

Survived my first day
Up at the crack of dawn and arrived 1 hour early ( you never know how that traffic is going to be). Full morning of orientation then lunch ( Great food I might add). Afternoon got to meet all my new co-workers I hope I can remember a few names. Feels good to get back in the work force with the way things are out there. I know how rough it is for anyone looking but hang in there and I wish you good luck.
Might be lacking in the blog posting for a few weeks gotta get my mind and energy on learning some new stuff.

Penny Flame
A new sign for the house
I was at a show and my friend sent me a pic of it from the show he was at. I was unable to get to the show and see it in person and maybe buy it. One month later I was at the show and got to work a deal out with the guy since he still had it. Things somehow work out in the end.

A Blast from the Past
Look what turned up at the swap on monday
and it is autographed by Mike Stannard himself!
For those out of town folks the Toyrific Toy Shows was "THE" Southern California show of the early nineties . That was before Ebay so everyone brought great toys and you never knew what would turn up. The show was run by Mike and Lisa Stannard who always had top of the line vintage toys themselves.

Cut
A little something the wife got for me at the shop today.
SIDE BAR
Sorry the blogs been lackluster and sporadic at best the past month or so. That good old economy caught up with the printing industry and since my logged time at the my old job was less than the others I was one of a few laid off about a month ago. So I have been catching up on things at home while searching for my next gig. Have a few things in the works so hopefully things will be back on track sooner than later.
