Trash Digging

I did not have room for a full size trash bin in my house but this miniature salesman sample is just the right fit. The piece is heavy steel and the lids work just like the full size one all the way down to the small poles that hold the lids open. It is as tall as a coke can to give you an idea of the scale. I fould a good spot for it on my office desk and know I use it to toss my spare change in. I should find a action figure and have him digging in the can with his feet in the air.........

V8 Squeak

My Vegie dog toy collection so far. Most of these have a large metal disk that makes the squeak. If there is something I just can't pass up it a inanimate object with a face.

Happy Birthday Disneyland

I thought I would share this Disneyland prototype 1964 ticket passport mock-up with you all today to celebrate the place that made todays post possible.

Part of a large disneyland collection we got a few years back. I like the ink symbols on the back cover for the lands. Check out the fish for adventure land. It is large for a ticket type piece at 3 3/4 by 6 1/2.

Wood and Grain

I don't know why but I just love the funky type that just doesn't come in a truetype file.

vintage label off one of those sliced wood tree trunk ashtrays that still have the bark on it souvenirs.
